I worked at Recovery Innovations as a counselor for two years and I am greatly appreciative for the experience. They run a good sound clinical program with care as well as run a tight ship. I learned a great deal while I was there which has translated to better counseling for my current clients. I woul refer clients from my current agency with confidence. This place is absolutely HORRIBLE and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I had to attend the program resulting from a DUI. The owner, the group sessions, and the counselors are a joke. I have just wasted 9 months there, after doing all of which they asked of me just to have them complete me because I had reached maximum clinical benefits, which does NOT satisfy IDRC requirements. I am going on a year sober and now due to this place I have to start a new program somewhere else just to satisfy IDRC. The sessions I attended were paid for by the state and I felt that this is all these people cared about. The only thing I got from this place was anxiety. The public needs to know about this place and how they take advantage of people's time and the state's money. I intend to file a formal complaint with the state so that they are aware of how their money was wasted as well.
